11. 3D Printing of electronics – drones

The obvious next step after printing and assembling some parts of drones is printing and assembling whole drones. Of course, you can skip the step presented in the previous lesson, but it is very helpful for those, you don’t feel self-confident in this matter. 

Below we present two different drones, which were printed in our lab with some modifications in relation to the original design. Once more, we would like to mention that in this case, 3D modeling and design play important however servant role towards the main goal which is building the flying device and there’s a lot of conceptual and manual work acquired to achieve desired results. Therefore for any kind of workshops where you are going to build drones, you’ll need not only 3D modeling and printing skills but also a significant level of knowledge and experience in electronics, programming and operating drones.
